PLANTING SEEDS OF HOPE

50th BIRTHDAY GIFT, FEBRUARY 17, 2012

I write this to ask you to pray and join with me in my dream for my 50th birthday on February 17, 2012, God willing. For two years, I have had this quote by my computer, “Attempt great things for God; Expect great things from God.”

On Tuesday morning, September 15, 2009, on my way to preach in one of my Nursing Homes, I felt inspired to plan a bike ride from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Columbus, Ohio, starting in early April 2012,to raise $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 to build in Kenya the long awaited Rafiki Academy for our Children whose parents have died of AIDS. The text I used for my sermon was Psalm 125. This is the simple plan that I felt God was giving me. Please join me in believing that this can be done. More details will follow as I assemble a team that will help me in Marketing and planning for this event. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD.

I know it will require a lot of preparation, working with Doctors, Dietitians, Personal Trainers, Sponsors etc, but I am ready and willing to attempt this for the honor and glory of God.
